Tacx Neo 2 Smart Trainer

Availability: Out of stock

Tacx describes their NEO 2 Smart Trainer as the pinnacle of indoor training and the most realistic and accurate bike trainer available. Those lofty expectations are backed up by the silent, smooth, and realistic NEO 2. A workout on this trainer will feel like riding on the road and includes vibration to simulate cobblestone, gravel, and many other surfaces. The dynamic inertia and descent simulation of the Tacx NEO 2 make it feel like an outdoor workout. You will feel the anticipation of accelerating into a descent at the top of a hill or mountain as the trainer behaves to simulate that moment.

Packed full of new technology, the Tacx NEO 2 can do it all. A cadence sensor will keep track of your pedaling consistency and pedal stroke analysis will give you everything you need to improve your performance. This includes left vs. right power date so you can analyze the power distribution of your pedal strokes and work on your efficiency. Power can be tracked within 1 percent accuracy. The Tacx NEO allows you to put in your best effort, accommodating sprinting up to 2,200 watts and inclines of up to 25 percent before analyzing your results with precision.

All of that valuable data can be tracked on a bike computer or watch display which are easily connected to the trainer. These results can be stored on the Tacx Utility App which can be found in the App Store or Google Play. The app is also an easy way to upgrade firmware and test the calibration of your trainer. Your trainer will also come with one free month of the Tacx Premium software which includes 3D map rides, video content of difficult climbs for you to conquer in real time, structured workout plans, and live opponents to race. Other apps where you can take on live competition such as Zwift are also compatible with the NEO 2.

The Tacx NEO 2 Smart Trainer sets a high bar for indoor cycling training. This machine is silent and easy to fold and take with you on travel days. It is very stable yet remains flexible to avoid an unrealistic feeling. Getting a quick workout in or having a crack at a Spring Classic is as simple as removing your rear wheel and hooking it up to your trainer. If you want an accurate, realistic, and fun trainer to improve your riding, the Tacx NEO 2 is among the elite.
