The Sidi Ergo 4 Carbon Composite road cycling shoe is the fourth generation of this popular road shoe which sees an improvement to the closure system as well as some aesthetic changes bringing even more Italian styling to this classic looking shoe. The Ergo 4 shares many of the same features as their Wire flagship model higher up in the range and includes the brilliantly functional Techno 3 closure system featuring dials and nylon wires that evenly spread load over the shoe avoiding any pressure points on the top of the foot. Two dials allow you to fine tune your fit even while on-the-fly and an additional Velcro strap allows adds extra security above the toe box.
The Sidi Ergo 4 features a super-stiff Twelve Carbon Composite sole designed specifically to cradle the foot while providing a stiff platform that allows you to transfer all your power through to the pedals. With an adjustable heel retention device that reinforces the top of the heel cup the Ergo 4 shoes allow you to adjust the interface between your foot and the shoe’s heel eliminating any potential for heel lift during those out of the saddle efforts.
